About this app

Print or export a ticket, or thousands of them, with the whole conversation, internal notes, the list of attachments, a cover page and a table of contents, as PDF, Word, HTML or ZIP. The bulk printing the Agent Workspace lacks, built in your browser, priced per account, free for one ticket at a time.

About the developer

Built and supported by Pablo Simón, an independent developer in Ireland, maker of Help Center Doctor and its sister apps. Not affiliated with or endorsed by Zendesk.

What the app does

  • One ticket from the ticket sidebar: Print / Save as PDF, HTML or Word with two clicks.

  • Batches from the navigation bar: paste ids or links, pick a view, or build a search (status, priority, dates, tags, requester, group, brand, custom fields, text) with an exact count for the whole account.

  • Every ticket gets a header (status, priority, type, channel, people, group, organization, brand, form, dates, tags, custom fields, satisfaction, metrics), the conversation in either order with internal notes marked, and its attachments listed with name, type, size and link.

  • Formats: Print / Save as PDF through the browser, HTML file, Word (.docx), ZIP with one HTML per ticket plus index.csv and manifest.json, and a CSV index.

  • Options: internal notes (admins decide whether agents may include them), attachments, metrics, custom fields, date range, order, cover, contents, page breaks, paper size, logo and footer; labels in English, Spanish, German, French or Portuguese.

  • History with one-click repeat; option presets, shared with the account on Business.

  • Business: up to 5,000 tickets per run in files of 500, SHA-256 hash of every ticket file in the index and manifest for legal holds, and an evidence record of every document (who, when, criteria, ids) exportable as CSV.

Plans (per account, 14-day free trial on paid plans)

Free: one ticket per document, Print/PDF and HTML. Pro: up to 500 tickets per document from ids, views or searches, Word, ZIP, CSV, cover, contents, branding, presets. Business: up to 5,000 per run, hash manifest, shared presets, evidence, priority support.

Data disclosure

  • Runs entirely in the agent's browser inside Zendesk Support: no server, no vendor account, no API key.

  • Reads, with the signed-in user's permissions and only when asked: tickets, comments, attachment metadata, users, organizations, groups, brands, forms, ticket fields and views. Never writes to tickets.

  • Attachments are linked, not embedded: browsers cannot read them from inside an app, so the documents carry the file name, type, size and a link that works for signed-in agents.

  • Writes only the agent permission and shared presets into its own installation setting.

  • Stores history, evidence, presets and settings in the browser's local storage; "Clear local data" removes it.

  • Nothing goes to the developer or any third party. No analytics, cookies or AI services.

Installationsanweisungen

Ticket Print & PDF needs no account, API key or configuration.

  1. Click Install on this listing (you need to be a Zendesk admin), choose your account and a plan. Paid plans start with a 14-day free trial.
  2. On the installation screen you can restrict the app to certain roles or groups. Click Install.
  3. Reload Zendesk Support once after installing, then open a ticket: the app appears in the ticket sidebar (the apps panel next to the conversation; open it with the Apps button in the ticket header if it is collapsed) with Print / PDF, HTML and Word for that ticket. If an agent cannot see it, the person who installed the app may have restricted it to certain roles or groups on the installation screen (Admin Center › Apps and integrations › Zendesk Support apps › Ticket Print & PDF); agents outside those roles or groups do not see the app. Print / PDF opens the document in a new window with a "Print or save as PDF" button; allow pop-ups for your Zendesk domain if the browser blocks it (the app downloads an HTML file instead).
  4. For batches, open Ticket Print & PDF from the left navigation bar of Support (with the unified navigation Zendesk rolled out in 2026 it can be tucked under More at the bottom of that bar when the bar is full): paste ids or links, pick a view or build a search, click Read tickets, then choose the options and the format on the Document screen.
  5. In Settings, admins decide whether agents may include internal notes in documents; the choice is shared with the whole account.
