Overview

"Confirm Ticket Submission" is a discreet application integrated into the ticket sidebar. It prompts agents to verify ticket details before submission, ensuring accuracy without disrupting the workflow.

Key Features

  1. Ticket Review
    Agents update ticket details (e.g., description, subject), and the app retrieves existing ticket data for comparison.

  2. Display Changes
    The app compares old and new ticket information, highlighting updates or modifications (e.g., status changes, new comments).

  3. Display Custom Data in Checklist Using App Settings
    The app allows the admin to configure custom check list in the JSON format in the app settings, which are rendered as multiple check boxes during the ticket review process for verification (A checklist is a list of points that the agent needs to verify before submitting the ticket). If a valid checklist is available, agents must tick all check boxes before the ticket can be submitted.

  4. Confirmation Prompt
    Before submission, a dialog displays modified fields for the agent's final review.

  5. 50-Second Timer
    A 50-second countdown timer starts, allowing the agent to confirm or cancel the submission.

  6. Auto-Cancel on Timer Expiry
    If no action is taken within 50 seconds, the submission is automatically canceled, and the agent is notified.

  7. Submit or Cancel
    Agents can confirm changes to submit the ticket or cancel to make further edits.

  8. Success Message
    Upon successful submission, a notification confirms the ticket has been updated with the new changes.

Installation Guide

Steps to Configure and Install

  1. Click the Install or Buy Button: Locate and click on the "Install" or "Buy" button to initiate the installation process.

  2. Installation Prompt Appears: After clicking "Install", a prompt titled "INSTALLATION" will appear for configuration.

  3. Set Value in "JSONForChecklist" Field:
    There is a field in the app settings called "JSONForChecklist" for defining the checklist (a list of points that the agent needs to verify before submitting the ticket).

    • Configure the "JSONForChecklist" field within the INSTALLATION prompt as per your requirements.
    • Ensure that the input value is valid JSON, e.g., {"key1": "value1", "key2": "value2", "key3": "value3"}.
    • This field is optional and can be left empty if you don't want the checklist.Checklist Image
  4. Set Role Restrictions:
    Within the INSTALLATION prompt, specify role restrictions as per your requirements. This involves defining which roles can access or perform certain actions related to the installation.

  5. Set Group Restrictions:
    Similarly, configure group restrictions within the prompt. Define which groups of users will have permissions related to the installation.

  6. Click Install Again within the INSTALLATION Prompt:
    Once the "JSONForChecklist" field, role, and group restrictions are set according to your needs, click on the "Install" button again within the INSTALLATION prompt to proceed with the installation process.

Note

Ensure that the "Block third-party cookies" setting is disabled if you are using Incognito mode in your browser.
